In the United States, 1 in 5 adults and 1 in 3 youth will experience a mental health or substance use crisis in their lifetime. Would you know what to do and how to help?
Learn how to help someone in need through Mental Health First Aid (MHFA).
Join us for MHFA at Denison University Knoebel Hall in Burton Morgan, Saturday, April 7th, 8:30 am - 5 pm. Lunch will be provided.
To register provide name and contact information to Brook Hubbard at firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited - register by April 1st.
What is Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)?
Just as CPR helps you assist someone who is having a heart attack, even if you have no clinical training, MHFA gives you the tools to assist someone experiencing mental health difficulties. MHFA is an 8-hour training open to all adults that teaches how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
